Matthew chapter 3 fulfills a prophecy of Isaiah (Esias is the Greek version of Isaiah) where John the Baptist is the voice crying in the wilderness preparing the way for the Lord, and making His way straight. That prophecy was written in Isaiah 40:3.

The Pharisees and Sadducees came to see John baptizing. The Pharisees were the religious hierarchy of the Jews that in their mind wanted to keep order. They were lovers of the traditions of men and loved money. The Christians have their own version of the Pharisees, and they will be exposed in this generation. They will sell out the Lord for money and for “world harmony”. The Sadducees didn’t believe in life after death. They were the intellectual, personal geniuses of their time. Their religion was the written law, which begs to question where do they think the law came from? This generation has its Sadducees also, and they can’t keep their mouths shut. They are already exposed. There will be things they will wish they could take back, but for many what they have said it is a matter of public record. The Pharisees and Sadducees were very close, which shows the Pharisees weren’t really concerned for the things that were of God. What mattered was what they had or could get tangibly.

John called them for what they were. He warned them of what’s to come. Not only was Jesus on his way, but so would his judgment once the Great White Throne Judgment comes. When Jesus returns, that ends this age and this age alone. At no time in the New Testament the phrase “end of the world” has the word “world” go back to “κοσμοσ” (cosmos) in the original Greek, which is their word for “world”. Each time the word “world” was “αιων” (ahee-own), which is the Greek word for age. In Revelation 20, it describes another age (since Jesus’ return ends this age) where Satan is in the bottomless pit for a thousand years. Once that millennia is over, Satan is loosened from his prison and is allowed to try to deceive those that still need to make a choice. Those that are deceived try to make war with the saints, but God stops them and ends that age. Then the final judgment begins. Even those that have made the right choice will have their works tested by the fire of judgment.

Jesus came to be baptized of John, and right away John knew who he was. As Jesus said, the sheep know the voice of the shepherd. Those like John know more than the voice of the Shepherd. John felt he wasn’t worthy to baptize Jesus with water and said to Jesus “I need to be baptized of you”, which is a different baptism. The baptism of faith is simply accepting Jesus as your Saviour. Finding your own personal salvation. The baptism of water is a public showing that you are going to live your life differently from that point on. While the baptism of water is important, the most important is the baptism of faith.

God came from a cloud once Jesus was baptized and said He is well pleased with His Son. What that meant was Jesus had not sinned at that point. Jesus had the ability to sin, so don’t let anyone or any denomination’s doctrine teach you otherwise. Jesus went to the desert specifically to be tempted of Satan. If Jesus didn’t have the ability to sin, where would the temptation come from?

Even though Herod told the wise men that he wanted them to tell him where the baby King was so he can celebrate with them, he was troubled at the prospects of a Jewish king. Once the wise men found Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, they gave Jesus gold, frankincense, and myrrh. God warned the wise men to not to return to Herod and find another way home. He also told Joseph to take his wife and child to Egypt to stay out of the future murderous rage of Herod. Jesus going to Egypt as a baby fulfilled a prophecy in Hosea 11:1-4, that God will call forth His son out of Egypt.

Herod became irate when he realized the wise men were not going to return to him. Out of paranoid fear and rage, Herod issued an order to have all male children, two years or younger to be killed. Herod was a sick, twisted man. Once he died, God did call Joseph to return to Israel.

WORD MEANINGS:

Myrrh: a fragrant ointment. Interesting fact, Myrrh in Greek is Smyrna. Smyrna was a city in Asia Minor, and was one of the places where the original churches were established. That city is now called Izmir in modern day Turkey.

The listing of generations from David to Joseph are shown to show the lineage from Jesus to King David. There were fourteen generations between Abraham to David. Fourteen between David and when the Jews were held captive in Babylon. Fourteen between they were in Babylon to the birth of Christ.

Mary was chosen by God to carry His child and sacrifice for our creation. Joseph, knowing she was pregnant was told to put her away privately so she wouldn’t be made a public example of. Possibly being stoned even. Putting her away meant that he would not marry her and break off the engagement, but was told to do it privately. An angel came to Joseph telling him to marry her, for the child she was carrying was of the Holy Spirit. The angel also told him to call the baby Jesus, and not to know her until she gave birth. This means that Joseph would not make love to her until she gave birth. The birth of Jesus fulfills a prophecy in Isaiah 7:14, as is explained in Matthew chapter one. He shall be called Immanuel which means “God with us” in Hebrew.

NAME MEANINGS

Joseph– Yowceph in Hebrew (Yo-safe)–definition: “let him add”

Mary– Maria in Hebrew–definition: “bitter”

Jesus– is the English pronunciation of the Greek version of Y’shua in Hebrew (Yih-shoo-uh)–definition: “God saved”

Christ– Χριστος in Greek (kree-stohs)–definition: “anointed”

The rider of the pale horse is also key with this. The rider of the white horse is the Antichrist human being. He is the Beast, but he simply is a man with the spirit of Satan inside him. The Antichrist human will die in the midst of the Tribulation Period. He will seemingly rise again, but it will not be his human flesh. It will be Satan in his angelic flesh. That is when he is kicked down here. Satan is the rider of the pale horse. He is named Death and Hell will follow him. Hell can’t follow him if it’s already here below our feet and filled with former rock stars.

Let’s also look at the early chapters of Job. Satan was on Earth, just as he was when he tempted Jesus. Read carefully though. Did it sound like Satan was forced upon Earth, or was allowed to move freely? God did have to ask Satan where he was. Satan answered on Earth. Sounds like Satan was allowed to go pretty much where he wanted. He will be forced on Earth at some point in the future. The truth is Hell is with Satan. Wherever Satan is, Hell is with him.

I’m sorry I cannot fully answer the question of where Satan is. The reason for that is it is impossible to answer until he is forced upon Earth after Michael and his angels kick him down here. He is somewhere between the realm of the Holy angels and our world. That is as accurate as I can be. God bless.

I have written in the past at other sites about global warming and other political issues, but now I realize that politics isn’t my fight. Getting people prepared for the time to come and explaining God’s word without the entanglements of traditional and denominational teaching is my fight. This post does entail global warming because of its agenda of being a global government.

When I was young, scientists said we were either in or about to enter an ice age. As a matter of fact, many including Obama’s climate czar said by the mid 90’s the northern hemisphere would be mostly covered in ice. Since I’m not ancient, this happened not long ago. If memory serves me correctly, the ice age hyseria lingered until 1980. The reason for the cooler weather was lack of sunspot activity. In 1988, the UN came out saying there was global warming. Soon after that, man was to blame. Instead of scientists learning their lesson after the ice age fiasco, they screamed like Chicken Little again and proclaimed the Earth was melting. For anyone with a curious mind, one must be able to ask how can man cause the scientists to go from the talk of ice age to global warming within a decade? That’s impossible, isn’t it? How can our creation cause such a drastic turnaround within ten years? A question global warming hysterics either won’t ask, or don’t want you to ask.

The Earth was warming during the 80’s and 90’s, but the last few years the Earth has been cooling. Look it up. Don’t look at projections which are outdated. Look at actual stats. Heck, put your finger to the air and feel. It feels cooler than it was about ten years ago, doesn’t it? The last few years, it has gotten particularly cooler. The reason: lack of sunspot activity. During the Earth’s warming, we weren’t alone. Mars too was warming at about the same rate since the 70’s. There will be a link below to that story. If lack of sunspot activity was the cause for the cooling back in the 70’s and again now, and when our planet warmed along with another planet, couldn’t anyone with a rational thought conclude that it was an increase in sunspot activity that caused the warming?

What started off as an innocent but headline grabbing proclamation that the Earth was warming, governments saw it as a chance to grab more control over their people. In turn, they would give scientists grants to keep going along with the hyseria while ostricizing any dissenting voices. Al Gore took up the cause while making a lot of money from it. When anyone actually challenges him, he dismisses them. He actually told a scientist that wanted to debate him that he can’t debate the science. Imagine that, Gore telling a scientist that he couldn’t debate the science. I guess you are right, Mr. Gore. You cannot debate the science with a scientist. He also has taken on a strategy of humiliating his opponents by insulting or trying to minimize the voice of regular people. He has called anyone that doesn’t believe in manmade climate change “a flat-earther”. He has complained to media that people who don’t believe in manmade climate change should not be given equal airtime. He has even told students to not listen to their parents when it comes to the talk of manmade climate change. Yes, he said that. Of course they changed the term “global warming” to “climate change” since it is getting cooler, but with the same agenda. It’s as if the Earth never changed temperatures before. According to any scientist, the Earth has gone through much more drastic changes in climate than what we’ve been going through lately. Were the Romans responsible for global warming by making metal for shields?

The whole reason for the government wanting climate change legislation is for power. Former czar Van Jones did a speech saying green jobs was a way to spread the wealth. You can find that on Youtube with no problem I’m sure. There is a link below to an audio clip of him saying this. Still, that is not the purpose for climate change legislation. Any program such as healthcare, bailouts, or green legislation is for the government to increase in power. Last year when Bush was still in office, Henry Paulson twisted the arms of banks that didn’t want to take government money in that TARP bill to take it. That is according to many bank officials themselves. The government wanted their fingers in that money. Obama has taken it a step further. Obama reluctantly let the banks pay back the TARP money but put a clause that if the government felt troubled by our financial institutions that the government would again take control over them to prevent a crisis. The government does not want to keep their hands out of that cookie jar. That is just one bill. What about cap and trade? Obama spoke about his cap and trade program where he said, and I quote “energy prices would NECESSARILY skyrocket… and the energy companies would then pass that onto the consumer.” I have a link below to this as well so you can see him saying it yourself. With our economy in utter shambles right now, why would he want to cause us to pay more over an unproven and contentious issue at best? Redistribution of wealth or the growing of government and world governments coming together?

This is a history lesson for the future. Whenever governments try to “spread the wealth”, it is only a mantra that would cause the masses to flock to their cause. In no case ever in any other government in the world’s history was wealth ever spread. In every case in any other government in the world’s history the poor stayed poor and the rich stayed rich because the rich played ball with the government. They got behind the government’s quest for power so they kept their money. As a matter of fact, in every case the amount of poor people rose in those countries. The ONLY outcome was more government power. This is the true agenda behind this thing we call global warming. Don’t gloss over that word “global” either. Global government is where we are headed. Combatting climate change is the easiest way to bring this together.

It would seem that someone might point out that no socialist government eradicated poverty. As a matter of fact, it was made worse because the government got bigger. A bigger government then becomes a fascist government eager to squash voices of dissent. You can’t question an overbearing government and get away with it. If you have your ear pointed the right way, you can hear that happening in our very own country right now.

Man causing global warming is a scam, and it’s intent is not to spread the wealth. It is to make government bigger and stronger. There is no example in history where a government actually spread the wealth. It would be better if the government took the money of the rich and directly handed it to the poor. That’s still wrong, but that would be better than grabbing the money and making programs intent on wasting the money away since the waste goes in their pockets. You’ve been had if you believed the government was truly trying to combat climate change. It can’t be done. Unless we blow up the Sun, we cannot combat climate change. It has happened in the Earth’s history over and over again. You’ve been had if you think the government had an innocent agenda. Power is a snowball rolling down a hill. It only gets bigger over time.

What does the Bible teach? Global government and people being delivered to their deaths for their beliefs. It also does say that a vial will be poured upon the Sun which would make the Earth feel very warm. That will happen in the not too distant future. We have been cooling. We will soon be warming. Maybe then the government will convince enough people that something must be done to combat the warming. Even though nothing can be done, the governments of the world will not be able to squander that opportunity.

This is a question many have. Are there UFO”s written about in the Bible? Actually there are many instances where one can not only say “yes”, but really do point that there are UFO’s in the Bible.

It is written there will be a war in heaven between Michael and his angels against Satan and his fallen angels. After this future war, Satan will be kicked down to Earth. How does that happen? How do angels travel? How will this war be fought? How will Jesus return with his saints to Earth at the end of this age?

When Moses and the Israelites traveled through the wilderness for forty years, God traveled with them in a cloud. Moses saw a burning bush that didn’t consume the bush. Something like that also happened with a craft Ezekiel saw. And what about this craft he saw? The color was amber. The original Hebrew word there for “amber” is pronounced (khash-MAL), which doesn’t mean like a grainy amber color. It really means bronze or polished spectrum metal with an amber hue. It’s shape was the same no matter the viewpoint and traveled by fire.

There are two men who have never died. In looking in Genesis 5 where the generations from Adam to Seth on and on and on, it shows everyone lived to such an age and then died except for one. That one was Enoch. It says Enoch had sons and daughters and lived to such an age but he was not for God took him. Elijah was taken up by a whirlwind into heaven. These will be the two witnesses written of in Revelation that will die and stay in the streets for three days. The third day their bodies will be taken up into heaven. When Jesus was on Earth, God came from a cloud saying “this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased”. Elijah and Moses spoke with Jesus while on Earth as well.

I think with everything that is written, the Bible definitely points out that there are things God and angels alike travel in. These definitely at the very least show the possibility of UFO’s. Are there little green men in these UFO’s? No. Angels? Yes.

I know of a Christian denomination that teaches the eating of lamb is a sin because Jesus was the lamb of God. Even though it’s written nowhere that eating lamb is a sin, again men have to take it upon themselves to create their own word instead of just adhering to God’s. Why Christian Gentiles began eating things that were not lawful for the Jews to eat comes from Acts 15:20, which says the Gentiles only have to keep away from animals that were strangled and away from blood. Yes, things must be cooked fully or you are committing a sin according to God’s health laws for the Gentiles.

Gentiles are allowed to eat shellfish and even those Christians that believe eating lamb is a sin but can’t keep their lips off of pork can indeed eat all the pork they want, save for gluttony. That’s a good thing too because I love shrimp as well as a good ham dinner. Do I sin because I also love a good gyro now and then? I think not!

Why does God have different health laws for Jews than for Gentiles? I’m not sure. Perhaps it’s due to their DNA that it’s not good for them to eat such things. Maybe even though they don’t die quickly from eating those things, but maybe diseases do come from them disobeying God’s health laws. The same could be said for the Gentiles. Perhaps if we obeyed God’s health laws, Jew and Gentile alike, we’d get rid of a lot of these diseases we have. Maybe our children who are born with impediments would not be born with them.

So when you are wondering if it’s okay to eat lobster; when you are wondering if it’s okay to eat bacon, go right ahead. But when you decide to order that steak rare, think about Acts 15:20. There’s no gray area there.
